At some point on this extraordinary journey of motherhood, it's likely you've lost a connection to yourself.

I did too.

I help stressed out, burned out moms learn skills and strategies to create calm in the chaos that build deeper, more meaningful connections with themselves and their children.

As a single full time working mom of two kids on the Autism spectrum, I know the fear, frustration and defeat of trying to engage with my kids in meaningful ways.

My Autism parenting journey started while I was working in DC, and my son who was in 4th grade, was diagnosed with Asperger's.

Life was already overwhelming; my job was intense and demanded 3 hours of travel time every day.

As the solo parent to my two wonderful children. I did everything I could to nurture and support them.

It was a whirlwind of joy, but also exhausting.

My son’s life revolved around doctor appointments as we tried to understand and address his needs.

He became distant and angry, retreating to video games and excessive amounts of screen time.

Witnessing his withdrawal was heartbreaking. I was at a loss for how to connect with  understand the lens though which he saw the world.

Working full time, managing our household and parenting to two ASD kids left me completely empty. Eventually I broke.

Somewhere in the midst of the chaos and burnout — I recognized I was being consumed and needed an escape.

It started by simply taking walks every night. After putting the kids to bed going for a walk — alone — was my first radical act of self-care.

Its not an understatement to say  going for a walk changed my life.

My breakthrough came when I realized sustainable self-care practices were the key to restoring my own wellness.

I know that when you're feeling tapped out emotionally and energetically it can be nearly to impossible to imagine something different.

We adopt stories and beliefs about our life’s challenges and live as if we're permanently stuck there.

While struggle is part of the parenting journey — it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Things changed for me when I started to focus on my own well being. I  began with with making tiny, intentional changes that done consistently had a massive impact on our en.tire family

By taking care of myself and my needs, I was able to take better care of my family. And out of that came a better connection and relationship with my children.

As a parenting mentor for Moms, I share the same strategies and practices I used to find calm amid the chaos.

And I can help you do the same!

What moms are saying...

Cecily makes me feel heard and gives advice in a non judgemental way. Her calm, caring manor makes it easy to be open. Sharing openly and honestly is never easy, you need to feel trust. I have felt that in all our sessions together. Her years of experience means she offers strategies that come from wisdom.

Chiristina C, Mom

Cecily is understanding and listens. She always comes from the place of what is best for my daughter and my family, not just what the school or system requires. She has a loving heart for our kids and the parents and always brings positive feedback.

Lesa C, Mom

Cecily's commitment to transparency and her ability to explain complex matters in a way that was easy to understand gave me confidence and peace of mind. I truly appreciate her dedication to keeping me informed and empowered throughout the entire journey.
